After creating all review questions, company administrators can send the review to an employee or manager by selecting Choose Your Audience. The review can be sent to All Managers, all employees in certain organization groups, like Locations, Departments, Divisions, Job Classes, or Job Titles or to specific employees at a time by choosing Custom and then entering the name(s) of the employee(s) in the Search for an employee field.
When a company administrator is creating a review for a manager to review all of his/her direct reports, the company administrator only needs to choose the manager's name in the Search for an employee option. The manager will receive a separate review for him/her to complete for each of his/her direct reports.
Note: Employees will only display as an option to choose if they are assigned a Manager on the Employee > Profile > Employment page.
The final steps to deploy a review are on the Finalize & Send page. The company administrator should review all questions and answer options on the left, the name of the review (should be a detailed name), who the manger will be sent to, and the max numerical rating of the review responses. The company administrator will need to choose when the review should be sent, when the review is due, and then select Send Reviews.
The company administrator will determine the email SUBJECT and customize the message to the manager(s) or employee(s). Any field in brackets [ ] will merge data from the EaseCentral system into the email automatically. The [URL] must not be edited or removed. This will generate and display a unique URL for each employee to complete his/her performance review. When the email is complete click Send and the email notification will be sent to employees to complete the review.
Note: Managers do not have access to create performance reviews, but they can complete reviews for their direct reports and also view any self-assessment reviews completed by their direct reports.
